CALL FORWARDING
There are some calls you just can't miss. At the same time, you can't spend your whole day sitting by the phone. With Call Forwarding, wherever your travels lead you, you'll keep in touch. It actually allows you to transfer your calls to another telephone number! If you have a small business, you can forward your home calls to the office or your office calls to home.
INSTRUCTIONS:
To forward your calls…
- Dial *72 (on rotary phones, dial 7-2 and wait four seconds).
- Listen for dial tone, then dial the number where you want your calls to be forwarded.
(You can use Speed Calling codes if have this feature).
- Call Forwarding is in effect when someone answers at the forwarding number. If there is no answer, or if the line is busy, hang up and repeat the steps above within two minutes. You will hear two "beeps" meaning your Call Forwarding feature is now working.
TO DEACTIVATE CALL FORWARDING…
- Dial *73 (on rotary phones, dial 7-3 and wait four seconds).
- Listen for two "beeps". The Call Forwarding feature is no longer in effect, and calls will ring on your phone.
